Pelloni Preserve

52.3 acres in protection

Overview

Nestled in the woods, Pelloni Preserve is made up of two wooded, hilly tracts that together add 1.1 miles of trail to the larger north–south Tomaquag Trail system.

The northern tract, owned by the Hopkinton Land Trust, extends east to Tomaquag Brook, near the site of Hopkinton’s first village. A 25-foot granite cliff, with small caves along its face, separates a perched wetland from the surrounding upland forest. At the base, a man-made drainage channel is crossed by a traditional stone slab bridge.

The second tract is protected through a trail easement, ensuring continued access to this scenic stretch of the Tomaquag Trail.

Getting There

The trailhead is located between 22 and 24 Cedar Knoll Drive

*Please note that the Diamond Hill Trailhead is not currently open to the public.
