About Us
The Hopkinton Land Trust (HLT) was established in 2000 by the Town of Hopkinton. The mission of the HLT is to protect the town’s rural character and natural heritage. The Land Trust are seven residents of Hopkinton, who value the beauty and serenity of our town. Members are appointed by the Town Council. The Land Trust seeks to:
- Preserve Open Space and Wildlife Habitats
- Protect Freshwater Wetlands & Wildlife Habitats
- Protect Farmland & Natural Habitats
- Protect Historical Places of Significance
- Provide Public Access for Recreation
- Provide Opportunities for Natural Education & Research
